The short bullet list above is exactly that, a short list. When one is preparing a presentation the actual types of technologies that can be used are quite extensive. For instance the list doesnt have streaming video within it. Streaming video is used on the internet to show videos, while minimizing the loading time. That very same technology can used for PowerPoint or Flash presentations. Perhaps XML might be appropriate. XML is used in Flash by us "cutting edge" types to allow for text and image changes within the Flash environment. That means, you can get the "coolness" of a flash presentation while at the sametime being able to make text changes within the presentaiton. Other technologies such as the PNG format that provides us with translucent backgrounds. This is a graphic format that we use within Powerpoint for our technical drawings.
